ESTABLISHMENT OF 1122 RESCUE SERVICES CENTRE AT STZ
The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) is the leading emergency humanitarian service of Pakistan with infrastructure in all 36 districts of Punjab and is providing technical assistance to other provinces. Rescue 1122 has rescued millions victims of emergencies through its Emergency Ambulance, Rescue & Fire services and Community Emergency Response Teams while maintaining its average response time of 7 minutes. As the number of tanneries situated in Sialkot having process from raw to wet blue, The increase in uses of chemical and other conventional process poses complexity of their operations and can be difficult for rescue services to react accordingly while in dangerous situations, Punjab Emergency services 1122, are trained and expert to dealt bad situations as required by strict standards, therefore, STAGL board decided to establish 1122 rescue centre in STZ to coup any untoward situations. Initial consultations are underway to find possible avenues of cooperation between these two organizations
