Sialkot Tennery Zone is indispensable for the survival and upgradation of the Leather Sector of Pakistan.

Sialkot Tannery Zone infrastructure ready to house the Tanneries in the Zone.
Effluent Treatment of STZ is first of its kind in Pakistan have seprate primary treatment for beam house effluent and post Tanning effluent, which is 83% already completed. The installation of machines and equipment is in progress.
The drainage system is 100% complete. All the drains are constructed in connecte to have a long life. The total length of drains is 35 km with segregated channels to carry beam house, chrome, and post Tanning effluents.
The road structure having a length of 15 KM is complete, and only the black top is left.
The solid waste management is part of STZ, the technology of hazardous management landfill is already firmed up.
Construction on 225 plots is in progress.
There are a total 540 plot holders in STZ, 90% are SMEs having plot sizes of 01 Kanal to 8 kanal
